![]() ![]() Thanks, for the heads up to look out for a firmware update. Has anyone else done the firmware update and gotten both HA’s updated at the same time or in some sequence? Perhaps it’s like cataract operations where both eyes are typically not operated on at the same time so that if one is messed up for a while, you still have a good eye, or in this instance, a good hearing aid… Perhaps since that is the one that was replaced yesterday, maybe its identity is still working its way through ReSound servers to the server(s) that administer firmware updates? If I later get another separate update for the left, I will update this post. Depending on your style of hearing aid, you may be able to adjust the volume by: Push buttons on the hearing aids (right aid button raises volume, left lowers volume) Rotary wheel. Nowhere in the process was I asked to do anything with my left hearing aid. ![]() The top section announces that my left hearing aid is up-to-date with firmware version 10037.3700 and the bottom section announces that my right hearing aid is up-to-date with firmware version 10040.4000. The strangest thing is that now when checking for a firmware update, Remote Assistant has two separate screen sections. After a few minutes, the right HA rebooted and a phone screen announcement proclaimed something like “Congratulations! The update was successful.” I still had > 40% charge left (can only read charge in 20% increments). Was asked to put only the RIGHT HA near my phone and warned not to do anything to interrupt the process (have to go see HCP if something goes wrong). The app lead me through the update process step-by-step. After visiting my audi today to get my new replacement hearing aid duly signed into the Remote Assist program (GN Online Services), something neglected on picking it up yesterday, Remote Assist started working properly in the Smart 3D app and about 10 hours later I got the notice of a firmware update.īoth HA’s were charged to 50 - 60%. ![]()
